Thanks for the tips about using up old bread. I have a bread collecting problem (as will be evidenced in my Food Waste Friday this week) so now I will have more options besides just making toast or bread crumbs!
BTW, finally got my hands on a copy of your book and find it hard to put down. I’m telling everyone who will listen–and even those who don’t want to
–about the incredible statistics of food waste in this country. It sure is eye opening!
