A fun read with a theory on littering that will please all of you Oregon Trail fans (my hand is raised).  Only semi-waste-related, but worth a few minutes.

    Hi Jonathan,
Not a comment on Friday’s post, but just thought I would share a recent observation:
we were going to dinner with our daughters in their NYC neighborhood (on 3rd in the high 20s) and saw a well-dressed young man rooting around in clear plastic garbage bag outside a D’Agostino’s grocery store. He walked away with some fruit salad, a few nice whole veggies and some other things I didn’t identify. I thought “good for him.” My 20 something daughters chose not to notice.
Hope you had a great weekend.
    Dee Dee
