    Interesting links. To me, however, neither the food network nor the “big waste” article are hitting at the idea of us as individuals making small changes in our homes. If we don’t care enough to do that, are we really going to care enough to write our congressmen or shop the farmer’s markets. I’m not so sure. I’d love to see the food network do a cooking show where they’re using bits of scraps–a little chicken here, some leftover peas, a stalk of broccoli, etc. Now that I could sink my teeth into. It might even inspire me to write my own little essay on my blog. Or to begin my own little “leftover night” posts where I create something from my leftovers. So thanks for the ideas.
