Today is the official release date for my book! Today, my book becomes a man.
While many of you already received your copy, via Amazon and elsewhere, I’m sure more of you haven’t seen it. So here’s a little preview–me talking a bit about American Wasteland:

Book mitzvah? Or for Jewish heathens like my family — “Pocky for Men.”
Congratulations! I got my copies in the mail yesterday and started reading it. Sadly, my day was chock full of work and an evening event, but I look forward to plowing through it.

Book Mitzvah! I like that.
Thanks for all of moral support and commenting along the way, Katy.
Hope you enjoy it–after you’ve skipped to the pages that mention you, of course.
Congrats – hope you really take a minute to appreciate the achievement. (BTW, the nook version hit around 3 a.m. It’s a nice companion to the hard copy – best feature so far is hyperlinks to the notes you have throughout.)
Oh, also – 2 copies on the shelf at Prudential B&N … and the dude there said that next week it’ll rotate onto the “New Non-Fiction” rack in the middle of the store.
Thanks, Seth. Those links from the Notes alone might make it worth getting an electronic version. Some of URLs are so long that they’re near useless in the hard copy.
And that’s good news about the “New Non-Fiction” rack. Very good news.
My friend and I were talking about leftovers. She and her husband are 68 and 70. She told me they never ate anything but leftovers.
Tomorrow, I will have the library order your book, and I will be allowed to read it first.
I am looking forward to pictures of dumpsters…love to dumpster dive…ummm…I mean go on safari in alternative storage containers.
Congrats on your book!! We have created a plant-based, all natural food wash that is proven to extend shelf life an average of 200% longer. It’s the anti-waste wash for produce, seafood and poultry based on the ancient preservation practices of the pharoahs. Would love to share insights with you.
