I only have a once-a-month garbage pickup, so this will greatly help. However, since I compost, it will only be chicken bones. And the vet would probably nix crusts as Fido food. But cut-off crusts don't need to wind up in the garbage. You can store them in the freezer until you have enough to use for making stuffing. Or you can break them up into little pieces and use them in meatloaf or stuffed cabbage. Or toast them and grind them up as bread crumbs. There you go Jonathon.
