					<description>Aha--good questions! I asked the same thing about the meat and bones. We composted that stuff along with everything else. Apparently we're told to avoid it for home composting just because it'll attract rodents (as if ours doesn't already). 

As for the compostable cutlery, there's a wide variety, but most are biodegradable because they're made from corn and potato starch.
